Warehouse Operative/Picker and Packer

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for multiple Warehouse Operative/Pickers and Packer for our client based in Redhill, Salfords depot and Crawley depot.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative/Picker and Packer

Industry: Logistics and Distribution

Location: Redhill, Salfords and Crawley

The role:

• You will be picking products using scanners in the warehouse then packing them for deliveries.

Hours:

• The client works Monday to Friday also offering weekend work.
• Ideally looking for someone to work 5 out of 7 days.
• Hours vary with the earliest start time being 6:30am and latest finish time being 7:30pm.
• Each day will be 8 hours long with 30 min break.

Pay:

• -12.22 per hour

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative/Picker and Packer:

• Accurately picking and packing customer orders
• Ensuring items are correctly labelled and prepared for dispatch
• Using hand held scanners and warehouse systems
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Meeting daily performance and accuracy targets
• Working as part of a team to meet operational needs

Requirements for the Warehouse Operative/Picker and Packer:

• Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience desirable but not essential
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
