Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well established manufacturing business based in LeicestershireThis is expected to be a temp to perm position The Job:They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods teamYou will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demandsYou will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere toWhich can include:Moving pallets around the facilityPreparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentationIdentify and report any damages or quantity issuesLoading trucks if neededOperating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do soStock taking when requiredKeep on top of housekeeping There are 2 shifts available - Mornings (Apply online only)Afternoons (Apply online only)Salary £13ph The Person: Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing rolePrevious experience driving a counterbalance forklift or other MHE equipment i.e. other types of forklift, LLOP or PPT is requiredHappy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shiftAccess to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times Extra Benefits:The company offers some great employment benefits once you are with them - these include discounted staff shop, life assurance, attendance bonus, pension scheme, ..... full job details .....
