Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our client’s busy warehouse team. This role involves a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and packing orders
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
• Assisting with warehouse organisation and stock rotation
• Handling breakdowns or issues with equipment in line with procedures
• Working closely with the warehouse team to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach, depending on role requirements)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift driver role
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting

Benefits

• Standard pay rate is £12.21 per hour for both days and nights after 12 weeks, pay rate is £14/hour and overtime will be paid at 17£ per hour
• Flexible shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off OR 2 earlys 2 lates 2 off, Also opportunity of night shifts
