About the Role
This role as a Warehouse Operative/FLT in Madeley involves managing stock within a manufacturing facility. Reporting to Pertemps Telford, you will check pallets contain all laser-cut parts and stocked COMs before welding, organise the pre-welding COM location, and audit the hold area for missing items. You will also stack parts for the laser machine, offload steel sections and sheet, and store them in racking. An FLT licence is essential. This full-time position offers £13.45 per hour on a temporary-to-permanent contract, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate with team members to resolve shortages.
Warehouse Operative/FLT
Our well established and highly regarded manufacturing client based in Halesfield is looking for a full-time temporary to permanent warehouse person with FLT to join their busy team, in the heart of their factory.
You will be checking products are fully kitted with all the laser cut parts, stocked COMs etc. on a pallet before they go into welding, managing the stocked COM location for pre-welding, checking our hold area for any missing items, making a list & organising with relevant team members to get them re-cut and kitted.
You will be getting parts stacked and organised for the laser machine, offloading steel sections and/or steel sheet, bring them inside and into stock rack, and doing the same with all the galvanised steel.
Ideal Candidate
- FLT licence essential and ideally a crane licence too
- Warehouse Experience
- Ok with lifting to 25KG
- Someone with a good attitude to work that can follow instructions
- Someone who can work independently once instructions have been given
- Flexible and Reliable
Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:30)
