Warehouse Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Basildon Type: Permanent Industry: Logistics Salary: £27,000kpa + excellent company benefits Workchain is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Basildon on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, this is an exciting time to be joining our client with a busy working environment and business growth plans. Immediate interviews and starts are available. The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 9.00am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 11.00am to 8.00pm. Key Responsibilities: Following all warehouse procedures in line with company guidelines Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded in time for deliveries Report and shortages or damages to the warehouse supervisor Booking freight in and out for despatch Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse operation Work as part of a busy warehouse and operations team Key Experience and Qualifications: Hold a current Counterbalance FLT Licence, have an experience of warehouse order picking, packing, operations, loading and unloading and work history due to referencing and CAA (aviation security checks). The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 9.00am to 5.30 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 11.00am to 8.00pm, an element of flexibility will be needed during busy periods with different start and finish times needed.
