Warehouse Operative / Telehandler Overview

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Operative with telehandler experience to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse. The role will primarily involve standard warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods, with occasional use of a telehandler to move, load, or unload materials as required.

Warehouse Operative / Telehandler Key Responsibilities

• Carry out core warehouse activities including goods-in, order picking, packing, and dispatch.

• Safely operate a telehandler when required to move, load, or unload stock and materials.

• Assist in stock control, including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.

• Follow all company health, safety, and operational procedures.

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met.

• Support other warehouse functions as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Warehouse Operative / Telehandler Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment essential.

• Valid telehandler licence/certification (essential).

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual warehouse tasks.

• Team player with good communication skills

• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
