About the Role
Manpower UK seeks an experienced Warehouse Operative with FLT for an established manufacturing business in Runcorn, WA7 1TH. This temporary position offers up to £13.50 per hour, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, totalling 37.5 hours weekly with no shift rotation. Warehouse Operative with FLT
Location: Runcorn, WA7 1TH
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Manpower is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join an established manufacturing business in Runcorn. This is a varied warehouse and dispatch role offering regular Monday to Friday daytime hours, with no shift rotation. You''ll be responsible for picking and preparing orders, loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring goods are stored safely and accurately.
What will you be doing£
- Picking goods from stock ready for customer''s orders and dispatch
- Using Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks, alongside manual picking
- Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers safely
- Ensuring stock is correctly stored and located within the warehouse
- Carrying out daily equipment and safety checks
- Completing warehouse and dispatch documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Working at part of the wider team to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time
- Following site health and safety procedures
What are we looking for£
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience
- FLT Counterbalance and Reach licences
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads
- Basic computer skills, including experience of Outlook and warehouse/ERP systems
- A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work well as part of a team
