Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are recruiting for a warehouse operative in Central Reading. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate. Shifts:Weekly rotation available: AM shift5am to 1:30pm: Monday to Thursday 5am-1pm: FridayPM shift12-8:30pm: Monday to Thursday11:30am-8pm: FridayLate Shift available: 12:30pm -8:30pm: Monday to Thursday11:30am to 8pm: FridayOptional/On request Saturdays shifts available at 1.3% rate. Overtime and bonuses available. Weekly hours: 40 hours ( 30 minute lunch break unpaid) Pay: 15.38Over time/Saturdays: 19.99 Salary review based on accomplishing training. Specific tasks could include:Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large itemAccurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.Operate saws and handle steelTransferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes.Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers'' orders.Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirementsRequirements for the role: The successful candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Operative Have a flexible attitude, committed, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
