Up to £28,730 (£13.00 per hour)
Access to own vehicle required due to the location of the site

ST TALENT are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established business based in Wetherby.

This is a hands-on warehouse role within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders using handheld scanner devices
• Packing and dispatching products using warehouse software systems
• Processing goods-in deliveries and stock put-aways
• Repacking products into branded packaging for retail displays
• Accurate labelling of products and shipments
• Stock counting and inventory checks
• Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required

About You

• Previous warehouse picking and packing experience is essential
• Comfortable working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
• Open, honest and reliable approach to work
• Able to follow instructions and processes accurately
• Numerate and literate with basic IT skills
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Able to remain on your feet throughout the working day
• FLT Licence advantageous but not essential
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the site

Additional Information
