Warehouse Operative - Rotating Shift Pattern

Just Recruitment is working with a well regarded, industry leading, manufacturing organisation, based on the outskirts of Maldon - they are looking for a ''Warehouse Operative'' on a fixed term contract - for 12 months. For the right candidate this could be extended or turn in to a permanent role.The key purpose of this role is to support the overall warehouse function, to unload and load in a busy and fast paced environment - ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded and business processes are followed at all times.Key dutiesDrive Counterbalance FLT on a regular basisEnsure FLT checks are carried out daily and failures reported via internal systemCarry out picking of products in a timely and accurate mannerSupport packing room ensuring packaging material is always available to support line efficiency Ensure Stock rotation is done in compliance with agreed site standardsReport all damages to stock controller/line manager and locate in quarantine once advisedComplete pre-loading/unloading vehicle inspections and ensure drivers follow the site rulesEnsure vehicle is loaded with out damages Transferring of products to standard palletsLoading and unloading of vehicle containersMaintain effective communication with hauliers, line managementFollow site escalation procedures in the event of issues, non-compliance and failuresEnsure all personnel visiting area follow site HSE proceduresEnsure product is delivered/despatched with correct documentationEnsure weekly cleaning ..... full job details .....
