Warehouse Operative- Wanted - Immediate Start!

Northampton NN5 Based | £12.89per hour

Sunday- Thursday / 6pm-3am or 8pm-5am

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for warehouse operator, on behalf of a industry-leading distributor/manufacturer/logistics company with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. Qualifications

Essential:

• · Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential
• · Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• · Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing
• · Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• · Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
• · Ability to always follow health and safety procedures
• · Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required
• · Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork

Desirable:

• · Forklift licence (FLT) is an advantage but not required as training may be provided

Roles & Responsibilities

• · Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques
• · Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies
• · Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
• · Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts
• · Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets
• · Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
• · Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
• · Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations
• · Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team
• · Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management
