Warehouse Operative (Dispatch, picking and packing)Location: RochesterContract: PermanentSalary per annum: 24,784Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:AM-4:30pmAs a dispatch operative, you''ll be a key part of our fulfilment operation - making sure customer orders are picked accurately, packed with care, and dispatched on time, every time. This is hands-on, fast-paced work that genuinely matters: every order you send out represents us to a customer.Day-to-day of the role:Using handheld scanners to pick items accurately from the despatch room against customer orders.Packing items securely and presentably, labelling correctly for despatch.Retrieving stock from the warehouse, including lifting and moving boxes.Keeping the workspace clean and organised - we all take ownership of our environment.Supporting stock control and inventory management.Following health and safety procedures at all times.Working as a team to hit daily targets - covering each other and communicating when it counts.Required Skills and Qualifications:Previous experience in a warehouse picking and packing role.Comfortable with scanners and warehouse equipment.Strong attention to detail and organised by nature.A good communicator who works well with others.Flexible and reliable - including during busier periods when the team needs everyone.Benefits: Casual dressCompany eventsCompany pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingTransport linksHow to Apply:If you are interested in the Warehouse Operative position, please submit your ..... full job details .....
