Warehouse Operative Location: Northampton, NN5 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 per annum Join a growing warehouse and distribution business as a Warehouse Operative. This role is perfect for someone with experience in warehousing, picking and packing, stock control, or goods-in/goods-out operations who enjoys working within a fast-paced and supportive team environment. Day-to-day of the role: Picking customer orders accurately using picking sheets or handheld scanners. Packing products safely and securely to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries. Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies. Ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment. Following company health and safety procedures at all times. Supporting colleagues across different warehouse functions as required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, distribution or fulfilment environment. Experience of picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual and dependable approach to work. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Basic IT skills and experience using warehouse systems would be advantageous.
