Warehouse OperativeAnnual Salary: £32,124Location: CullomptonJob Type: Full-time (45 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday, 5pm - 2am)Join a leading supplier of bakery products and ingredients servicing customers throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team at our depot. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks from unloading/loading vehicles to maintaining stock accuracy and cleanliness.Day-to-day of the role:Carry out duties as instructed by the shift supervisor, including picking and collating stock across Ambient, Freezer, and Chiller departments.Manage goods inwards by checking and booking in stock correctly.Ensure vehicle temperatures are checked before loading/unloading.Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and competently.Perform hygiene and maintenance duties as required across the site.Support the effective and efficient running of the Warehouse and related areas.Required Skills and Qualifications:Previous warehouse experience.Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments (Freezer, Chilled, Ambient).Flexibility in handling various tasks.Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the role.Desirable qualifications include: Health and Safety training.Experience with Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).Computer literacy (Word/Excel).Benefits:28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata).Company Pension Scheme.Life ..... full job details .....
