About the Role

Rapier Employment is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their client’s team in Normanton. This full-time, contract position offers a salary of £12.71 to £13.78 per hour, dependent on shift. Suitable candidates should live within a 30-minute commute of the location. Daily tasks involve moving stock physically and via systems, operating handheld terminals, processing paperwork, and working collaboratively. Good attention to detail, IT proficiency, and comfort with heavy lifting are essential. Shifts run Monday to Friday, with options including 06:00–14:00 (£12.71ph), 10:00–18:00 (£12.71ph), or 14:00–22:00 (£13.78ph). Overtime rates of time and a third or time and a half apply. Immediate starts are available following an on-site induction.

ROLE INFORMATION:
Rapier Employment are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives for our Client in Normanton.
A usual shift consists of:

Moving stock physically & systematically
Operating handheld terminals
Processing paperwork
Working in a team environment
Good attention to detail
Operating IT systems
Heavy lifting involved

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:

Monday to Friday – 06:00 – 14:00 - £12.71ph
Monday to Friday – 10:00 – 18:00 - £12.71ph
Monday to Friday – 14:00 – 22:00 - £13.78ph
Immediate start with prior to Induction on site

IDEALLY YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

Warehouse experience is essential

Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations
Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
Experience in MHE is advantageous.
