Warehouse Operative - Colchester, Essex

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy DIY and hardware distributor based in Colchester, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking an ongoing temporary position within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and packing a variety of products in line with work orders
• Preparing boxes of various sizes for warehouse operations
• Unloading incoming deliveries (some heavy lifting involved)
• Assisting in dispatch, including preparing pallets for outgoing shipments
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within a logistics, distribution, or supply chain environment
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong reading and writing skills to accurately follow work orders
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively

Pay & Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-17:00
• -12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay
