Warehouse Operative

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Braintree, Essex.

Duties of the Warehouse Operative:

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Checking goods for damage or discrepancies
• Labelling and putting stock away correctly
• Supplying materials to production areas
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Checking products and quantities before dispatch
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stocktakes
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Following company health & safety procedures

Requirements of Warehouse Operative:

• Previous warehouse, goods in, goods out or logistics experience
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with manual handling
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• ERP or warehouse system experience would be advantageous
• A good attitude and willingness to learn

Pay & Hours:

• -13.00ph
• Monday- Friday
• 07:30-16:15 - early finish on Fridays
