Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start
Stowmarket, Suffolk
-13.00 + per hour (with potential pay increase after probation)
Full-time - 40 hours per week (07:00-15:00, Monday to Friday)
Temporary (3 months) with potential to extend or become permanent

Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and reactive Manufacturing environment in Stowmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an immediate start, with the possibility of a long-term position.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing goods in and out using an ERP system (full training provided)
• Maintaining accurate stock control records (electronic and paper-based backup)
• Picking and packing parts accurately and efficiently for dispatch
• Moving and storing stock, including completed machines and sub-assemblies
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Arranging shipping and freight
• Monitoring and managing outstanding sales orders
• Communicating with customers via phone and email

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Reach Truck Licence
