Warehouse Operative

Job Description: Job Overview We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Operative to join a well-established, family-run SME Company in Alton. This new position will work within the Warehouse team, primarily responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching goods in a proficient, accurate, and professional manner. The role also involves supporting in other areas of Operations as needed, such as goods inwards, replenishment, manufacturing, and packaging/banding. You will also need to be available to start New Year, preferably 1st week of January 2026! Responsibilities Pick, pack and dispatch orders using the Handheld terminal and WMS system Counting and confirming inventor Maintain a clean and tidy work area Support and assist colleagues as required to ensure company goals are achieved Assist with receiving and checking incoming deliveries as require Assist with banding and packing assembly as required Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline warehouse processes Experience Basic IT skills, including MS Outlook or similar programs Forklift License preferred (training available) Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic, willing to learn Approachable, honest, trustworthy, and a positive team player Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy Organized and tidy in working practices Physically capable of manual handling Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage Working Hours: Monday- Friday ..... full job details .....
