WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Salary: -26.5k per annum

The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will work within the logistics department dealing with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:
* Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
* Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
* Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (counterbalance desirable)
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
* Conducting regular inventory checks and stock control
* Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Handling heavy lifting as required

About You:
Applicants should have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will need to be proficient in using warehouse management systems and demonstrate a proactive and reliable work ethic.

Required:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role
* Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
* Forklift counterbalance licence (desirable)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
