About the Role

Pertemps Warrington seeks a Warehouse Operative for a full-time, temp-to-perm contract in St Helens (WA9 3AL). Pay ranges from £12.71 to £14.00 hourly, dependent on experience. The working pattern runs Monday to Friday, 06:00 until 13:30. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, duties include picking stock against despatch deadlines, replenishing shelves, offloading deliveries, and locating goods accurately. The successful candidate will flag stock queries and shortages promptly, maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Previous warehouse experience is essential for this role.

The Company
Our client who has been operating for over 60 years is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative.
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring all stock is handled, stored and packed in a safe working environment as well as other warehouse duties which are detailed below.
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will be:

Pick stock as prioritised in line with despatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Replenishing stock.
Offloading deliveries and locating in the warehouse ensuring a high level of accuracy.
Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements.
Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment policies.
Flexible approach to working hours dependant on the business needs to meet company expectations.
