Location: Preston Brook, WA7
Pay Rate: £13.98 per hour with overtime being paid at £19.07 p/h
Hours: 4 on 4 off 06:00-18:00, 45 mins unpaid break per shift
Temporary Ongoing (Permanent Opportunities Available)
All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test
Previous warehouse and MHE experience is essential for this role.
Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. The role involves picking, loading and manually sorting flat pack furniture and white goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position and develop new skills within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities

• Picking and loading products using handheld scanners
• Operating MHE such as PPT or Reach trucks
• Manually sorting flat‑pack furniture and white goods for dispatch to designated destinations.
• Conducting basic quality checks on products before dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

• Previous warehouse experience is essential 
• Previous PPT, LLOP OR Reach truck experience is essential
• Ability to carry out repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting duties
• Comfortable working with large and bulky items such as furniture and white goods
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
