Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Kettering
Salary: £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing until December

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves picking and packaging products for dispatch, booking goods into the system, and operating a forklift to move materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a forklift truck to manage goods in and out, pick materials, and return items to their correct locations.
- Process incoming goods accurately, identifying and reporting any missing, lost, or damaged items.
- Prepare goods for courier collection, ensuring all items are safely and securely packed and labelled.
- Pick orders correctly using the scanner system and notify supervisors of any issues.
- Assist supervisors with stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized.
- Report equipment faults using the appropriate procedures and perform daily and weekly forklift checks.
- Contribute ideas to improve warehouse efficiency and participate in team meetings.

Requirements

- Valid Forklift License.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Reliable and committed, with availability to work ongoing.
