Job Title: Warehouse OperatorDepartment: Warehouse / OperationsReports To: Operations ManagerLocation: CorbyPurpose of the RoleThe Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with company procedures. The role supports the smooth operation of the warehouse and contributes to maintaining high standards of stock control, customer service, and workplace safety, this is a temp to perm role for the right person.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries, checking goods against delivery documentation. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Use of electronic devices for the recording of operations in the company WMSLoad and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. Store goods in designated warehouse locations in accordance with company procedures. Carry out stock checks and inventory counts as required. Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies to management. Operate warehouse equipment and machinery in a safe and responsible manner, where authorised. Ensure customer samples, orders, and shipments are prepared accurately and dispatched on time. Label, package, and prepare goods for transport in accordance with customer and carrier requirements. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
