Job Title: Warehouse Operative- Day Shift

Location: EH48 2FB

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.38 Per hour

Working Hours: 7/8am-4pm (35-40 hours per week)

5 days over 7 on a set rota

Job and finish- flexibility is required

Join a fast-paced distribution centre as a Warehouse Operative, previous experience using large material handling equipment is required!

 

Main duties:

- Operate various types of large material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas and production lines.
- Always Follow Health and Safety and company policies.
- Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
- Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory.
- Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
- Working as part of a supportive team

 

Key Skills:

- Previous experience using large material handling equipment.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Being able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep track of orders
- Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly.
- Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern
- Good attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience
