About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative based in Barnacle, you will join Pertemps Coventry Commercial on a full-time, permanent contract. This role offers a competitive hourly rate between £12.71 and £12.88. Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders.
- Inspecting products for damage or shortages.
- Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
- Updating stock movements using the warehouse management system.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Replenishing stock to warehouse and production areas.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Processing customer returns.
- Applying product labels where required.
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to unload deliveries and move stock safely.
- Completing daily forklift safety checks.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use warehouse systems.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support other areas of the business when required.
