About the Role

This temporary Warehouse Operative / Packing Op role in Pocklington offers up to £13.40 per hour through Manpower UK, with immediate starts available. Working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am until 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:30am until 4:00pm, the successful candidate will pick and pack high-value goods, move and handle stock safely, and pack kiosks into wooden crates for dispatch. Careful handling to prevent damage and keeping the work area clean and organised are essential. Applicants should be reliable, physically capable, and attentive to detail. The position begins with a one-week project, with potential for a permanent contract for suitable individuals.

Manpower is currently recruiting 2 Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client in Pocklington, with immediate starts available from Monday.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business working with high-value products in a busy warehouse environment. Successful candidates will initially support a one-week project with the potential to secure a permanent role for the right individuals.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Pay £13.40 ph

Duties Include

Picking and packing high-value products
Safely moving and handling stock
Packing kiosks into wooden crates ready for dispatch
Ensuring products are handled carefully to avoid damage
Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Future Opportunities

Following completion of the initial project, there may be opportunities to move into permanent positions within areas such as:

Mechanical Assembly of kiosks
Goods Inwards
Packing and Distribution
Driving and Logistics Support

What We''re Looking For

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Strong attention to detail and ability to work carefully with high-value products
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Available to start immediately
