Warehouse Operative

Location: Milton Keynes Job title: Warehouse Operative Job type: Full time Rate: £13 per hour Hours: Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm, Fri 8am-12.30pm Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesKitting parts and components in accordance with production schedules and build requirements.Delivering kits to designated production areas accurately and on time.Replenishing production supermarket stock levels to agreed minimum and maximum inventory levels.Maintaining the internal Kanban supermarket to support uninterrupted production flow.Kit and maintain consumables boxes for production shelf build.Moving materials safely within the warehouse and manufacturing areas.Operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Conducting routine stock checks and reporting shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials. Adjust stock levels if appropriate.Ensuring all materials are correctly identified, handled, and stored.Support Instrument packing if required.Maintaining a 5S culture and high standards of housekeeping.Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the work environment.Supporting continuous improvement activities within the warehouse and production support functions.Assisting with general warehouse and logistics activities as required.Essential: Experience working in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
