Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Canterbury, Kent - Will need to drive due to location Hours: Working between 7:00am and 7:00pm - 50-55 hours a weekSalary: 13.41 per hour 2 days off a week which are Sunday and MondayWe are seeking a proactive and highly organised Warehouse Operative to join our clients operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is confident coordinating warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The successful candidate will also be expected to deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, check, scan, and load pallets for customer deliveriesBook transport for customer orders and prepare all associated delivery paperworkCoordinate drivers, vehicles, and loads, ensuring cost-effective and timely solutionsCarry out daily warehouse inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety proceduresInspect equipment and tools to maintain high operational standardsRelocate pallets from packing areas to the warehouseMonitor stock levels of packed products and communicate with the Packhouse Planning team regarding orders and stockManage relationships with service providersEnsure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are consistently metLoad and unload local orders and packaging using the appropriate trucksPrint labels for market orders when requiredPerform additional duties as requested to support the wider teamExperience ..... full job details .....
