Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative at our Telford dairy site, supporting a fast-paced food manufacturing and automated warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will hold valid forklift licences, including counterbalance, and will bring extensive manufacturing, warehouse and systems experience, with confidence working around operational equipment, stock systems, quality standards and continuous improvement activity. Contract: Full Time / Permanent Salary: £32,011 per annum, plus overtime premiums Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days and nights) Working Hours: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am Location: Telford Dairy Key responsibilities: Operate safely and effectively within a high-volume food manufacturing and warehouse environment, following site procedures, safe systems of work and hygiene standards. Use forklift equipment, including counterbalance trucks, to move, store and supply materials in line with operational requirements. Support production lines by ensuring materials are available on time, scanned accurately and moved to the correct locations throughout the system. Maintain accurate stock control, goods issuing, receipt of materials, traceability and stock rotation processes, supporting the management of stock discrepancies where required. Use warehouse systems such as SAP/EWM and transport systems to support accurate material movements, stock visibility and operational performance.
