Details of a Warehouse Operative: The shifts are Static Days 6am-6pm or Static Nights 6pm - 6am rotating 4 on 4 off.Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91 Once Upskilled: Days £15.41, Nights £15.94, Weekend Days £16.13, Weekend Nights £16.44 Requirements of a Warehouse Operative: Experience working in a busy warehouse environmentAbility to work at height for long periods of time - 20m highBasic numeracy and literacy skillsGood communication skills Duties of a Warehouse Operative: Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on siteMoving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locationsSupport with loading and unloading delivery vehiclesPerform daily safety checks on equipment before usageGeneral housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environmentAll work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment Benefits of a Warehouse Operative: Upskilling to ..... full job details .....
