About the Role
Manpower UK seeks a full-time Warehouse Operative for a permanent position in Over, Cambridge (CB24), paying up to £13 per hour. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will support a leading manufacturer of laboratory products. Job Description
- Receive, check, and unload deliveries accurately against delivery notes
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock checks
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Assist with loading goods onto vehicles for delivery or collection
- Support general warehouse duties as required, including operating manual handling equipment
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse team members and other departments
Required Skills andamp; Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Driving license ideal but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive team player attitude
- Physical fitness to handle manual lifting and standing for long periods
- Basic computer skills for stock record keeping are advantageous
