Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Unit A, Waterbeach, Cambridge

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am-1:00pm (occasional Friday afternoons on a rota)
  Overtime: May be required during busy periods (additional pay or time in lieu applies)

Job Overview:

Manpower is looking for a reliable, detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join our client in Waterbeach. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out packing and general warehouse tasks to a high standard
• Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, efficient working environment
• Use basic computer systems and adapt to new tools as required
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors
• Maintain a tidy and safe working area
• Assist in problem-solving and escalate issues when necessary
• Be open to trying new processes and ways of working

What We''re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse role (packing experience preferred)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn
• A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Calm and practical approach to solving problems
• Flexible and open to change in a fast-moving environment

Desirable but Not Essential:

• Manual handling knowledge or training
• Experience supporting or training others
