Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Tonbridge. This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent contract offered after a successful 3-month probation.What you''ll be doing: Picking and preparing stock orders Stock preparation - wrapping rolls, boxing tape, bagging plugs Operating equipment - using the compactor to bale pallet wrap/card, and the chipper to recycle HDPE membrane offcuts Loading vans for delivery General site maintenance and cleaning - keeping the site tidy, sweeping the yard, weeding, grass cutting, recycling packing materials, emptying binsPay: 13.19 per hourWhat we''re looking for: Experience is not essential - full training will be provided Someone physically fit and happy with active, hands-on work Comfortable working in a cool warehouse environment (approx. 10-12 C in winter) Ideally local to Tonbridge, with good, reasonable communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learnThe right candidate will be invited for an interview.If this sounds like the right role for you, we''d love to hear from you!
