Warehouse Operative

Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a well-established construction business in East Grinstead, who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse.The role will involve:Coordinating the movement and distribution of materials and equipmentReceiving deliveries and ensuring items are stored correctlyMonitoring inventory and ordering or replenishing stock when requiredTaking responsibility for the storage facility and ensuring it remains efficient and well-organisedCoordinating the allocation, return and upkeep of tools and machineryMaking sure equipment is in good working order and available when neededAssisting with the preparation and clearance of construction sitesEnsuring materials, tools and equipment are delivered to the right location at the right timeKeeping accurate records and maintaining a safe, tidy working environmentThe ideal candidate will have:Experience within warehousing, stores, logistics, construction or a similar environmentA practical mindset and a willingness to get involvedStrong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detailThe confidence to manage stock, deliveries and equipment independentlyA proactive approach and the ability to identify and resolve issuesGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site and office teamsWhat''s on ..... full job details .....
