Warehouse Operative - Late Shift

Warehouse Operative (Late Shift) Temp to Perm Location: Basildon Salary: £29,215 per annum (£14.05 per hour) Hours: 12 00 (40 hours per week) Shift Pattern: 4-day working week (Rotating: 3 weeks Tuesday Friday / 2 weeks Monday Thursday) All Square Recruitment is pleased to offer a fantastic Temp to Perm opportunity for an efficient and proactive Warehouse Operative. This role is ideal if you prefer a later start and a condensed 4-day working week. What You Will Do In this role, you will manage the seamless receipt and dispatch of goods. Specifically, your daily duties will include: Loading and Unloading: You will safely handle incoming and outgoing stock, check for damages, and ensure correct storage. Inventory Management: You will utilise operational systems to maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy stock records. Maintaining Compliance: You will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure you complete all tasks safely and on time. Driving Efficiency: You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to implement workflow improvements. As a result, you will help reduce cargo handling errors. Equipment Operation: You will operate forklift trucks (where qualified) to assist with daily warehouse manoeuvres.
