This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with responsibility for goods in, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch. The role also has a strong focus on accuracy, IT systems and improving warehouse processes. Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm Location: Northampton Salary: -28,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Responsibilities: Handle goods in, stock, picking, packing and dispatch activities. Manage non-standard deliveries, urgent orders and overseas shipments. Update stock information accurately using warehouse systems. Book in shipments and maintain accurate order and courier records. Use a PDA and other warehouse systems as part of the day-to-day operation. Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and audits, investigating discrepancies. Identify recurring stock, dispatch and courier issues before they cause problems. Support improvements to warehouse processes, layout and stock handling.
