Job title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Shefford
Type: Temporary (possibility of Temp to Perm, not guaranteed)
Working hours: Rotational Shifts- Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour
 
Our highly established client based in Shefford are looking for a Warehouse Operative on a Temporary basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with Warehouse and/or Manufacturing experience, along with a Reach Truck license, to hit the ground running and work strongly within their team.
 
Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- To pick and dispatch customer orders from the warehouse
- Processing and checking delivery/order sheets, where strong attention to detail is needed
- Follow and adhere to strict Health & Safety regulations
- Checking incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them in their correct locations
- Loading and unloading lorries/vans using Forklift Truck
- Quality inspection on all finished production readied to be dispatched
 
What''s needed as a Warehouse Operative:
- Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck license
- Previous experience working within a Warehouse and/or Manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Basic IT skills
- Full UK drivers license, as you may be required to travel to their Bedford site
- Self motivated and driven
