Warehouse Operative

My client is seeking a warehouse operative to join their great warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, and can handle heavy lifting. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with his or her hands and isn''t afraid of a little hard work.

Job purpose: To receive, prepare, process and pack orders in a timely manner. To restock and undertake stock takes whilst adhering to all health and safety process and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness;

• Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles;
• Counting and confirming inventory;
• Marking and labelling stock;

• Picking and packing products and reviewing paperwork to ensure that the product picked matches the documentation;

• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets;

• Operating and building loads with forklift;

• Ensure orders are ready for collection or delivery;

• Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials;

• Undertaking stock takes;

• Storing inventory in an accessible manner;
• Reporting faulty or defective stock.

Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm
