Stock Controller Yeovil, Somerset Permanent From £30,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 7.00am 3.30pm Organised, practical and confident managing stock in a busy warehouse? Talent Guardian is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative for an established manufacturing business in Yeovil. This varied, hands-on role combines stock control, warehouse administration and goods in/out. You ll help keep production supplied and customer orders moving, ensuring stock is accurately recorded, correctly stored and ready for dispatch. What you ll be doing Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading, unloading and booking stock onto the system. Checking delivery paperwork and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods. Picking and preparing materials for production, alongside picking, labelling and wrapping pallets for dispatch. Maintaining first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation and supporting traceability and audit requirements. Completing weekly and monthly stock counts, monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Keeping warehouse spreadsheets and stock records accurate and up to date. Updating the Supply Chain team on finished goods availability and liaising with external storage providers. Managing the Goods In email account and associated documentation. Completing daily forklift checks and providing training and support to warehouse colleagues when required.
