Warehouse Operative - Factory/Engineering Environment

Location -Perry Barr B42

Pay: -12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm

We''re recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site producing security equipment. This is a hands-on role in a factory/engineering environment, ideal for someone with strong warehouse experience who can work accurately and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Locating stock and moving items
• Weighing items and preparing goods for despatch
• Working with small parts (handling and sorting)
• Counting small parts and completing basic stock checks
• Manual handling and general warehouse duties as required

What we''re looking for

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar picking/packing or stores role (essential)
• Able to work on own initiative and manage tasks with minimal supervision
• Good level of English language (written and spoken) and numeracy for counting/accuracy
• Physically fit - role involves regular lifting up to 25kg
• Reliable, punctual and detail-focused, especially when working with small components
