Warehouse Operative

GBR Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with a major Distribution and Logistics company based in Central Lincolnshire recruiting for an experienced permanent Warehouse Operative (several vacancies) to join their well established team, working mainly Days and Late shifts, but there will be some Night shift working too (nights is on call / standby only, so you will sometimes be called to work and sometimes you will stay at home on full pay). Flexibility in terms of hours you are prepared to work is a must, as the client works a 4 week roster system with different start and finish times, across differing week days. Days shifts will be 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday, Lates will be 11:30 - 20:00 Monday to Friday and Nights will be 20:00 - 08:00 Thursday, Friday and Sunday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, with shifts being week 1 on Days, weeks 2 and 3 paid on call for Nights (paid if you work or not) and week 4 on Lates, makes up the 4 week roster. As a Warehouse Operative / MHE Operator (PPT / LLOP) you will be responsible for the movement of stock between Put away / Stock Consolidation / Pick and Pack, plus working in Dispatch too, sending out finished Picks. Duties: Receive deliveries of stock, check quantities and put stock away. Receive deliveries of bulk stock, checking quantities, recording the receipt of the products and passing on the paperwork to the Supervisor.
