Warehouse Operative

gap personnel are currently seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse team based in Rainham. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are hardworking, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Rainham 
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling incoming and outgoing goods efficiently
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy at all times
• Organising stock within the warehouse and keeping locations clearly maintained
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies
• Packaging items securely and labelling correctly
• Supporting general upkeep of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and tidy workspace
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good level of communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items when required
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
