Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We''re looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative to support all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse related work and ideally have used Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) previously. This is predominately a manual warehouse role with limited FLT driving (10%) and will involve some heavy lifting.Key Responsibilities for a Warehouse Operative:Picking and packing ordersHand balling/manually unloading deliveriesProducing paperwork and dispatch labelsLiaise with transport companies ensuring daily collection targets are met.Picking and packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.Ability to move between departmentsKey Skills for a Warehouse Operative:Valid forklift licenseStrong communication skills and team player.Organised, pro-active and positive attitude.Additional Info:Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-5.30pm 8.00am-2.45pm on FridaySalary: 27,200 per annumStart Date: ASAPProactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Proactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
