Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We are recruiting for a Warehouse/Forklift Operative to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business. This is a varied, hands-on role covering goods in, order picking, dispatch, and general warehouse operations.Duties will include:Receiving, breaking down, and allocating ''Goods In''Storing products efficiently using warehouse rackingPicking and preparing customer orders and completing paperworkDispatching goods and coordinating with couriers/transport companiesHandling customer collections (including cash/cheques to the office)Routine warehouse housekeeping and site maintenanceAssisting with stock checksOperational maintenance of site equipmentEnsuring safe storage practices and contributing to a clean working environmentForklift driving - training will be provided You will need to have:Previous warehouse experienceCounterbalance licence (expired licences will be refreshed with training provided)Good attention to detail and organisationBasic IT skills (Excel essential)Reliable, team player with a strong work ethicIn return our client offers the following benefits:31 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays)Additional paid Company Shutdown over Christmas/New YearCompany Pension - employer meets all minimum contribution requirements; employee contributions are optionalFree on-site parkingPPE providedHours of work are:Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:45pm and Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm (39 hours per week)Please note: Due to the location, own transport is ..... full job details .....
