Warehouse Operative

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Warehouse Workers for our client based in Leighton Buzzard. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse environments and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation. Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 Temp-perm vacancy Pay rate 12.90ph Responsibilities Efficiently manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safe lifting techniques. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in roles involving inventory management and order fulfillment.
