Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team. This is a key role responsible for the receipt, inspection, and accurate processing of inbound goods to ensure stock is handled efficiently and meets company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, or goods-in experience who is looking to develop within a growing organisation. Warehouse Operative responsibilities: Receiving and booking in deliveries using warehouse systems Unloading goods safely and efficiently (manual handling required) Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes Inspecting goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues Accurately labelling and storing stock in designated locations Updating stock systems and maintaining accurate inventory records Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Following all health and safety procedures at all times Skills and experience required: Previous experience as a warehouse operative / goods in / inbound operative (preferred but not essential) Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic IT or warehouse management system knowledge Strong team player with a positive attitude Physically fit and able to handle manual work Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment ..... full job details .....
