Warehouse Operative - dispatch

Warehouse Operative Dispatch Team We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated hire operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing hire equipment for dispatch ensuring everything is clean, complete, safe, and ready to reach our customers. What You ll Do as a Warehouse Operative: Prepare hire items for dispatch by checking their condition, cleanliness, and functionality. Fit necessary accessories and components to main units according to job or customer specifications. Assemble part-build kits when required verifying all components are included and properly secured. Pick and pack hire orders accurately, based on dispatch notes or system-generated lists. Perform quality checks on all outgoing items to ensure they meet safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Work closely with the hire desk, drivers, and other warehouse colleagues to coordinate timely and accurate dispatch. Label equipment and complete all required paperwork or system entries. Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe working area at all times. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture. Assist with general warehouse tasks such as goods-in, stock rotation, and other duties as required. What We re Looking For in a Warehouse Operative: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is essential. Supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus (but not required).
