Warehouse Operative / Stores Assistant Location: Earlsfield Role OverviewWe are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Stores Assistant to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role involves manual handling, moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse. The successful candidate will also be comfortable using computers for stock control, material logging, and general administrative tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading vans and deliveries.Moving, organising, and storing materials safely within the warehouse.Picking and preparing materials for dispatch.Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting and moving stock.Logging materials in and out using computer systems.Updating stock records and maintaining accurate inventory levels.Responding to emails and assisting with basic administrative tasks.Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements.Supporting the wider team with general warehouse duties as required.RequirementsPrevious warehouse or stores experience preferred.Experience with manual handling and lifting materials.Comfortable using computers, emails, and stock management systems.Good attention to detail and organisational skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.What We OfferTemporary to permanent opportunity.Full training provided where ..... full job details .....
