Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Hours: 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Overview:

JV Foods have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team. If you have proven track record in a similar role, then this could be the role for you. We are a specialist Mexican food importer and distributor based in Reading.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working on a 3 weekly rotating weekly shift pattern of 4:30 to 13:30; 6:00 to 15:00 and 8:00 to 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and loading stock onto vehicles
• Ensuring paperwork is correctly completed
• Unloading and putting away deliveries
• Checking stock in the warehouse for dates and rotation.
• General housekeeping

Skills & Competencies:

• Warehouse experience of working in multi temperature chambers
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• Driving licence (essential)
• Be able to cope with heavy repetitive work
• Bendi Forklift Licence (advantageous)
• Must be a team player
